CONVOTHERM MINI PRO WINS GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2026
Eglfing, Germany (03/02/2026) – Following its previous accolades including the ICONIC AWARD 2025, the Red Dot Award 2025, and the Good Design Award 2025, the Convotherm mini pro continues its award-winning streak. The latest honor for the King of Compact is the prestigious German Design Award 2026 in the category Excellent Product Design – Kitchen. With this award, the German Design Council recognizes the outstanding design quality and innovative strength of the smart combi oven, which uniquely combines functionality, technology, and aesthetics.
The award is one of the most significant design distinctions worldwide and confirms the company’s leading position in design excellence within the field of professional kitchen technology.
The international jury of the German Design Award praised the oven’s well-thought-out overall concept: “The sophisticated operating concept of the Convotherm mini pro combines AI-driven automation with a clear, confident design language. The elegant combination of stainless steel and glass appears striking and integrates harmoniously into a wide variety of kitchen environments. Particularly impressive is how space efficiency, intuitive operation, and sustainable materials are brought together in this product in an outstanding way.”

The Convotherm mini pro was introduced as a compact combi oven for professional use in environments with limited space, minimal staffing, and high-capacity demand. With a width of just 49.8 cm and the innovative EasyStack system, the mini pro demonstrates how maximum performance can be achieved in the smallest of spaces. The optional ConvoSense technology handles fully automated, AI-driven optical cooking, prevents food waste, and reduces resource consumption. The ConvoClean S2L cleaning system with recyclable cartridges also sets a strong example for sustainability and hygiene.
The official German Design Award 2026 award ceremony will take place on February 6, 2026, as part of the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt am Main, one of the most important meeting points for the international design community.
