Welbilt inspires in Salzburg with innovations
Almost like the old days again: the industry's leading trade fair Alles für den Gast once again attracted many exhibitors and visitors from 5 to 9 November 2022. Welbilt once again inspired with its expertise in professional kitchens.
The atmosphere was a bit like a class reunion! After two 'slimmed down' years, the hospitality industry of the Alps-Adriatic region finally came together again in Salzburg for the Alles für den Gast trade fair. The organizers counted 629 exhibitors and 34,204 visitors. Welbilt was right in the middle of it: Directly in the arena, the heart of the trade fair, visitors were able to experience live innovative products and their application, tailored precisely to the current market needs. These included the brand new generation of high-speed ovens, the latest members of the Convotherm combi oven family, the latest coffee machines from Crem, energy-efficient induction solutions from Garland powered by INDUCS and the new Fresh Blender® beverage dispenser for smoothies, shakes and other cold drinks. Because the fact remains: at Welbilt, (almost) everything that professionals in the industry need today is available from a single source and with uniform, easy-to-learn operating concepts.
Speed and efficiency
In 2022, even more than in previous years, the focus will be on convenience products and their quality-maintaining preparation. Speed and efficiency first! Here, the new Merrychef conneX® high-speed ovens with up to 80% faster cooking times particularly impressed the trade visitors. Above all, the conneX® 16, which was presented for the first time, received a lot of attention and praise from industry representatives thanks to its revolutionary 16-inch cooking chamber in an 18-inch wide housing and its impressive connectivity. The ConneX® ovens also stunned visitors when used in an unbeatable duo with the compact Convotherm mini - it has never been easier to finish and serve pre-produced components in such a short time!
The trade fair organizers are happy that exhibitor and visitor interest in Alles für den Gast continues unabated. "This year's growth in exhibitors and visitors shows that the fair is back and an indispensable driving force for the entire catering and hotel industry in the entire Danube-Alpine-Adriatic region," Benedikt Binder-Krieglstein, CEO at RX Austria & Germany, was pleased with the success. "It was great to see the confidence and courage with which the companies are looking to the future, investing and finding solutions to current problems." He added that the digitization boost missed by the industry during the pandemic years was also noticeable. This is confirmed by the Welbilt experts after numerous intensive discussions at the stand: "The combination of various Welbilt brands and appliances such as Convotherm combi ovens and Merrychef high-speed ovens, provide highly efficient cooking solutions that are energy efficient and are future-proof thanks to connectivity," comments Hans-Werner Schmidt, Managing Director of Welbilt Germany. "We were able to convince numerous visitors of this at the Welbilt booth. We are delighted with the great response to our innovations!"
